Binsar has been declared an Important Bird Area by Bird Life International with over 200 species including Tits, Forktail, Nuthatches, Blackbirds, Parakeets, Laughing thrush, Magpies, Kalij Pheasant, Monal, Koklas , eagles, Woodpeckers and a range of others found here.
